Ryegrass Certification

It is anticipated that the area of perennial ryegrass pasture in Hawke’s Bay that will be entered for certification as a result of the reversion to the old scheme will be about 6000 acres, 1200 acres of pedigree and Government stock seed already having been entered. The total area last season was approximately 4300 acres.
