“BLOODY HAND” AMERICAN REVULSION BREAK SUGGESTED DIPLOMATIC CONTACT (Reed. Dec. 1, 3 p.m.) NEW YORK, Nov. 30. America greeted the Russian invasion of Finland with complete condemnation and j expressions of revulsion, at the method and manner. .At least one ranking senator, Mr. Kic£. asked the United States Government to sever diplomatic relations with Russia, declaring that he hoped “thy country no longer grips the bloody hand of Stalin,” while officials generally took a grave view of the situation and following a conference between the Secretary of State, Mr. Cbrdell Hull and President Roosevelt on-ttie matter it was Indicated that the President might summon the legislative leaders of both parties for a discussion of policy. Possible courses of American action are indicated as follows: The application of the neutrality law, the recall of the American Ambassador to Moscow, or the severance of diplomatic relations.
