GERMAN SITUATION
EX-KAISER’S INTEREST MONARCHIST HOPES LONDON, Nov. 19. The former Kaiser, while refraining from making a public statement calculated to prejudice Holland’s neutrality is intensely interested in the situation that is developing in Germany, according to a report from Doom.
A member of his entourage - states that the ex-Emperor Wilhelm cherishes the hope—raised by recent rumours of 'increasing Monarchist activity in Germany—that a young descendant of the Hohenzollerns will eventually ascend the German throne. Be realises that Herr Hitler’s future position depends upon the outcome of the war. He was shocked at the report that the former Crown Prince is under “house” arrest in Germany.
