NO CRUISER SUNK
FRESH BRITISH DENIAL NAZI CLAIM REFUTED (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 11 a.m. RUGBY, Dec. 1. Following upon the Admiralty denial that no cruiser of the London class has been destroyed by a U-boat, the Germans have attempted to elicit further information by pointing out that this denial does «iot imply that no disaster has befallen any cruiser and hat silhouettes of other ve&jels closely resemble those of class. It can be stated on the best of authority, however, that no British cruiser of any kind has been sunk.
