WARTIME IN PARIS PEACE RATIO CHANGED (Eke. Tel. Copyright—United Tress Assn.) (Reed. Dec. 1, 9 a.m.) PARIS, Nov. 30. The report of the health service discloses the usual wartime excess of male over female births in the first three months of the war. The ratio 6f births in Paris was three girls to one boy before the war. Now the ratio is two boys to one girl. No explanation is forthcoming.
SHIPS OF BRITAIN (■Reed. Dec. 1, 9 a.nr.) SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 30. Following a request by the British Consul, special police guards were placed alhoard British ships to prevent sabotage. Special coastguard convoys are also provided to escort incoming British vessels.
