EX-GERMAN CHANCELLOR

(Reed. Nov. 30, 3 p.m.) COPENHAGEN, Nov. 29. The death is announced of Herr Philipp Scheidemann, a former German Chancellor, aged 74 years.

Herr Scheidemann was first Chancellor of the republic after the Great War but resigned rather than sign the Treaty of Versailles. He had lived in Copenhagen since the Hitler regime.
