ENDING OF STRIKE
ABATTOIRS DISPUTE SYDNEY SETTLEMENT (Reed. Nov. 30, 9 a.m.) SYDNEY, Nov. 29. It is announced that the Homebush abattoirs strike, which started on November 22 when the mutton slaughtermen demanded that a casual employee should be reinstated in his former position, has been settled. It is expected that the slaughtermen will return to work early next week following the resumption of the livestock sales.
