BRITISH MEAT SUPPLY
INCREASE FOR BUTCHERS REGAINING NORMALITY (Reed. Nov. 28, 2.40 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 27. The Food Ministry has increased the butchers’ supplies of imported meat from 40 to 50 per cent of the normal quantities imported. Supplies fell to 20 per cent of normal quantities in the first weeks of the war but they have been increasing steadily in recent weeks.
