SINKING NEUTRALS
AVOIDING ODIUM METHOD OF GERMANS (British Official Wireless.) •Reed. 2.15 p.m. RUGBY, Nov. 27. One of the methods adopted by Germany in endeavouring to escape the odium of sinking neutral vessels is revealed in the case of the Dutch vessel .Slidrecht, which was sunk toy a German submarine on November 16 in mid-Atlantic.
■Referring to this incident, the Germans later announced that they had sunk a British Q ship disguised as a Dutch merchantman.
