Mr. Roderick McLeod, son of Mr. Alex McLeod. Fcatherston. who is at present in England has enlisted in the Black Watch Highlanders. Mr. R. H. Quiiliam, Crown prosecutor at New Plymouth, left this week j for Wellington to take up an administrative position in the Defence Price.'
