MEMORANDA
An important dispersal sale of homed Hereford cattle, registered and unregistered, will be held at the Matavvhero Kaleyards on Tuesday by Messrs. Williams and Kettle, Limited, on account of the Pakarae station. In all, 190 head have been entered for sale. The annua] Waerenga-a-hika garden fete and flower show will be held ? u "The Vicarage" grounds on Saturday, and will be opened by the Bishop if Waiapu, the Rt. Rev. G. V. Gerard. A special feature is being made this rear of the flower show, which is to be bigger and wider in scope than formerly, it being possible for a competitor to win as many as 26 trophies. In the evening a dance will be held in the Ormond Hall, the playing of five-hundred being provided as an alternative to dancing.
