SICK SOLDIERS

BRYANT HOUSE OFFER

ACCEPTANCE BY CABINET

The offer of the Bryant House trustees to accept convalescent soldiers as their guests at Bryant House, Raglan, between the time they leave hospital until they are fit to resume duty has been accepted by the Government following interviews the hononary manager, Mr. D. V. Bryant, of Hamilton, has had with the Ministers concerned and departmental officers in Wellington.

i The Government has agreed to appoint an officer and a doctor to the home to supervise, discipline and care for the health of the men. The trustees will provide domestic and nursing services, and transport from Hamilton will be arranged by the Hamilton Patriotic Committee.

There is at present accommodation in the home for 44 men. Bryant House is situated on Raglan Harbour, overlooking the open sea, and is four miles from Raglan.
