The one-time favourite for the Epsom Handicap, the New Zealander Te Hero, with 10.-. t. (lib., won the Wyong Handicap of £4O, over six furlongs, at,’ the Wyong country meeting to-day. Te Hero appeared’ composed before the race and. for once, did not turn round at the barrier rise. He won pulling up by a length and a half. He was ridden by jockey Ryan. The time was 1.13'.
