A MAORI CHURCHMAN

COMMEMORATION SERVICE An unurually large congregation attended the Rangiatca Maori Church in Otaki to commemorate the late Rev. Temuera Tokoaitua, father of the present incumbent, the Rev. Paora Temuera. who assisted Canon W. G Williams. superintendent of the Maori Mission, in conducting an impressive service in the Maori language.

The late Rev. Temuera Tokoaitua riccl two years ago aged 73. For 25 years he was in charge of the Rsngialea pastorate and was ordained in Gisborne by Bishop Leonard Williams in 1900. having trained at Te Rau College.
