Political Representation
Arrangements which he had made iwith Mr. D. W. Coleman. M.P., to represent the north-eastern section of his electorate during his absence with the special military forces were communicated tc tlie Waikohu County Council to-day bv Mr. A. G. Hultquist, M.P. for the Bay of Plenty. Or the motion of the chairman, Cr. A. A. Fraser, the council offered Mr. Hultquist its thanks for his consideration in the past and for the emergency arrangements he had made for U.e council’s representation in the immediate future. It also recorded its congratulations to him upon his acceptance for service, and its earnest good wishes for his safe return on completion of his service abroad.
