CHILDREN’S BALL
CROWDED ATTENDANCE

On Saturday evening a most enjoyable children’s fancy dress ball organised by the Ngalapa School Committee was held in the Ngatapa Hall. The hall was filled, and the children presented a gay scene in their many and varied costumes.
Mr. J. .Hamilton was the M.C., and the music for dancing was supplied by Mr. J. While. The children were under the supervision of Misses McCarthy and Gunn. A feature of the evening was singing by the senior and junior pupils, and action songs by the infants. At the end of the children’s programme a sumptuous supper was served and the remainder of the evening was devoted to dancing by the adults. A party of Maoris also entertained with part songs.

L. Williams. N. Costair, ,1. Costair, N. Hooper, I. Hamilton, M. McCarthy. P. Gunn and O. Makariri.
