CONTROL OF AIRWAYS
BRITISH MERGER PLAN CORPORATION OF THREE (Elec. To!, Copyright—United Press Assn,) (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 9 a.m. RUGBY,' Nov. 26. In the circumstances of the war it has been decided to reduce the size of the corporation which is to take over Imperial Airways and British Airways and “to make further better provision for the operation of air transport services.” The corporation, which is to be known as British Overseas Airways Corporal, on, accordingly is being established with three members only in place of the'll to 17 originally provided for. They are Sir John Reith, chairman, the Hon. Clive Pearson, deputy-chairman, and the Hon. Leslie Runriman.
