SWEDISH PROTEST
EXTENSION OF FIELD FLEET CUT OFF HINT OF REPRISALS (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (ReCcl Nov. 27, 2 p.m.) STOCKHOLM, Nov.. 2G. Sweden has protested to Germany against the extension of the German minefield off Falsterbo in the extreme south-west of Sweden. It is declared that the mines close the one deep passage. The other is only 10ft. deep, for which reason the whole of the Swedish west coast fleet is cut off from the Baltic. Swedish newspapers are indignant over the latest development and are implying that Sweden will go to the length of cutting off exports to Germany, including vital iron ore. It is recalled angrily that Germany is still holding 38 Swedish ships.
