NAN-NING SLAUGHTER
RAIDS BY JAPANESE APPALLING DAMAGE (Reed. Nov. 24, 10.15 a.m.) NEW YORK, Nov. 23. The Chungking correspondent of the United Press of America says that military reports indicate that appalling destruction and heavy casualties were caused at Nan-Ning, the capital of the Kwangsi province, where the Japanese made 30 air raids in three days. A large area is in flames. It is impossible to count the dead.
Six Britons were in the city when the attack began.
