OUTSPOKEN JUDGE NEWCASTLE-ON-TYNE, Oct. 11. A statement by the judge that "if Christ appeared 10-da.v He would approve of this war" threw a conscientious objectors’ court into a turmoil today. A crowd which had gathered to hear Judge Richardson decide applications from active military service because of religious beliefs, hissed and booed when the judge made his declaration. He ordered the court to be cleared and left the bench. When he relumed. tire crowd demonstrated again, and the court was adjourned until to-morrow. A police patrol was ordered lo he on hand at tomorrow’s session.
