NEW YORK, Oct. 11. Federal prosecutors claimed yesterday, after the two remaining defendants were sentenced that the Government had finally ended a £3,000.000 “washed stamp racket.” Convicted of washing and distributing used and washed documentary stamps, Jack Gudney was sentenced to two years’ gaol and fined £SOO, and John A. Arras was sentenced to 18 months and fined £4OO.
