TOOTH’S BREWERIES

DIVIDEND RATE RAISED SYDNEY, Nov. 21. The net profit of Tooth and Company, Limited, brewers, reached a record of £855,709 for the year ended September 30, or £13,871 more than in tlie previous year. The dividend rale is raised to 12 per cent.

Earnings compare with £841,838 ini the previous year, which also was a record, and £774,(195 in 1937. The dividend in the previous year was 11J per cent. With the exception of 1934. J when a special centenary bonus was! added, the present rate is the highest : since 1928-29, when 12J, per cent was! paid. *
