An announcement made by the official German news agency in Berlin to-day included the statement that units of the Nazi fleet are busy in the Baltic Sea. the North Sea and all oceans. The Berlin correspondent of the British United Press says that Admiral Mourer, writing in the Hamburger Tageblatt, urges Germany to employ surface craft in addition to submarines against British convoys which, he confesses, present difficulties to U-boats. He adds: “The battle against, convoys, which include important transports, should be carried out by cruisers, destroyers and heavy units since the German Navy’s chief task is a ruthless war on commerce.’’
