GOOD BOWLING
The former Nelson, Wellington ancl New Zealand cricketer, J. Newman, registered an outstanding performance with his slow deliveries in his first game of the new season in club cricket in Nelson. He took eight wickets for 6G runs for Old Boys against Wakalu. If he is able to retain his form during the present season he should be troublesome in Newman Shield and Hawke Cup matches.
