Auckland.—Nov. 20: Arrived, Kiwi tea, (1.45 a.m., from Greymoitth; Wai pints. 7 a.m., from Wellington.-

Boys o»i Farms More than 108 boys from the Scddon Memorial Technical College have offered to work on farms during the Christmas vacation, according to a report from the vocational guidance officers in Auckland, Miss M. F. E. Adams and Mr. G. W. C. Drake. During the last summer vacation several boys were placed in temporary farm jobs, where they benefited from the open-air life and the physical exercise. The response to the appeal this year has been so enthusiastic as to be embarrassing, and some difficulty probably will be found in placing the boys unless the farmers are prepared to help.
