—“Four Feathers”: Tcchnicolour Special, Friday—

Alexander Korda’s newest production, directed by his brother Zoltan, rates easily among their best joint efforts and certainly among the finest British dramas to reach the screen. It is the screen version of the A. E. W. Mason classic, “Four Feathers,” which commences an extended season at the King’s Theatre on Friday. It is a talc of military adventure in the desert country of the Nile at the time of Kitchener's Sudan campaign, not merely a colour spectacle, but also a stirring story of human courage against long and terrific odds. Leading players are John Clements, Ralph Richardson, C. Aubrey Smith, June Duprez and Allan Jeayes. The colour is superb and the camera work (lawless. A moving note of heroism is outlined against the background of the tale of the young Englishman, branded a coward by his fellows, who sets out to rehabilitate himself, and it is acted to rehabilitate himself. The box plans opened to-day.
