FISKEN CUP GAMES
P.8.-GISBORNE DRAW EACH CLUB WINS FIVE i Gisborne and Poverty Bay club j teams, playing on Saturday in the I Fisken Cup competition, won five ! games each, an interesting feature of j play being that both clubs lost more j games on their own greens than they won. With two series now complete, and one to be played in the first round. Poverty Bay has a total of 12 wins, Gisborne five, and Kahutia three. The last-named two clubs are to meet in the third Saturday’s play for the Cup. Details of Saturday's matches were as under.
