TOOTHS BREWERIES
The directors of Tooth and Company, Limited, Sydney, brewers, propose a final dividend of 6 per cent, making 12 per cent for the year ended September 30. This compares with 11. V per cent a year ago and 101 percent in 1937.

LONDON. NoV. 15. The directors of the English, Scottish and Australian Bank, Limited, recommend a final dividend of 3J per cent, making 7 per cent for the year. The rale is unchanged, but it is subject to a deduction for British income lax at a rate as yet unstated.
