PLANE DAMAGED
FORCED LANDING MISHAP PILOT SLIGHTLY HURT CPcr Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, this day. A Miles Hawk monoplane taken over by the Government for training purposes was badly damaged when a forced landing was made by PilotOfficer C. R. Parker in broken country near New Plymouth on Saturday. The pilot, who escaped with a gash over an eye, was recently appointed instructor at the Air Force flying training school at New Plymouth.
