NAZI SHIP TAKEN

SOVIET FLAG FLOWN BRITISH NAVAL PRIZE (Reed. Nov. 17, 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 16. A British cruiser seized the German steamer Leander off the west coast. The Leander was masquerading as Russian with the letters U.S.S.R. painted on her side and flew the Soviet flag. The crew had been unable to get food and had decided to make a dash for Germany.

Following the seizure' of the ship by the British cruiser, the German crew were landed and interned.
