PIOUS NAZI PLEA
“BETTER EUROPE” FIGHT WITH BRITAIN (Reed. Nov. 16, 2.45 p.m.) INSTANBUL, Nov. 15. The German Ambassador to Turkey, Herr Von Papen, in an interview, indicated that Germany plans to establish a European commonwealth after the war. He declared that Britain had had ample time to do likewise. Now it was Germany’s turn. She was fighting to avoid a repetition of the Versailles mistakes and to build a better Europe.
