WOOL FOR ALLIES

DISTRIBUTION CONTROL SUGGESTED APPOINTEE (Reed. Nov. 15, 2.20 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 14. The Yorkshire Observer says the Government is considering the appointment of a wool controller who will be responsible for the distribution of supply to the whole of the Allies. The Empire will be, in effect, world wool-buyers for the Allies. It is likely that Lord Barnby will be appointed. The appointment will not interfere with Sir Harry Shackleton as controller for Britain.
