This is I one of the biggest constructional jobs I associated with the further expansion I of electrical output from Waikat o-j mo ana. The decision to construct the tun- j nel, stated Mr. Semple, was made ini preference to cutting a long water j race on the hillsides as the silting j problem will be overcome.
