CANADIAN CROPS
ALL-ROUND INCREASES ESTIMATES OF YIELDS (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 9 a.m. RUGBY, Nov. 13. The Canadian wheat crop for 1939 is now estimated at 478,965,000 bushels. The final estimate in 1938 was 350,010,000 bushels, while the average for five years from 1932 to 1937 was 300,390,000 bushels. The oats crop in 1939 reached 385,930,000 bushels, compared with 371,382,000 in 1938. The barley crop is estimated at 103,266,000 bushels, which is a slight increase on the 1938 figures.. The rye crop totalled 15,307,000 bushels, against 10,988,000 in 1938.
