NAZI INDICATION

THE HAGUE OFFER MEDIATION SUGGESTION WAR THE ONLY WAY DISPUTE WITH ALLIES (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. Nov. 15, noon.) LONDON, Nov. 14. It is reported from Berlin that the official German reply to the BelgianDulch mediation offer has been handed to the Belgian and Dutch Ministers in Berlin. German press agencies state that the Nazi Foreign Minister, Herr von Ribbentrop, advised the Ministers that the reply would be a polite “No." Herr von Ribbentrop drafted the note yesterday.

The Belgian and Dutch envoys were informed that the note was based on the British and French refusal, which rendered peace at present impossible.

A Stockholm message quotes the Berlin correspondent of the Dutch paper Aftonbladet, who states that Mr. Winston Churchill's speech convinced Herr Hitler that only war could settle the differences between Germany and the Allies.
