VICTIMS OF MINE SINGAPORE SINKING (Reed. Nov 15, 9 a.m.) SINGAPORE, Nov. 14. Further reports of the loss of the British India, liner Sirdhana, which was sunk oil’ Singapore yesterday as the result of the explosion, of a mine confirm that the vessel went down within 15 minutes. Most of the victims, consisting of 11 Asiatics drowned and nine Asiatics missing were children. The survivors were rescued by Chinese in Sampans and British harbour naval launches An officer blew the locks off the cells on board, releasing 137 Chinese deportees, the majority of whom were saved and later rounded up by the police. The troupe of the magician Nichols, ail of whom are Americans, lost £20,000 [worth of uninsured equipment.
