VEGETABLE EXPORTS
POSTPONEMENT LIKELY NO ACTION AT PRESENT The likelihood of a postponement of the national scheme for increasing the production of exportable vegetables was indicated to the Cook County Council at its meeting to-day in a letter from the Department of Labour, in reply to a communication from the council.
"It is not proposed to take any definite action at the present time," tire letter stated, "as a delay has occurred in receipt of essential information from London which, it appears, will inevitably necessitate postponing the plan for this season "
