PROGRESSIVE PAIRS (Herald Correspondent.) • A progressive pairs tournament for the Club Ferns was held last weekend by the Tokomaru Bay Bowling Club and resulted in J. J. Roberts winning the skip's section and F. O’Sullivan the leads, this pair becoming the first holders of the ferns. Results were as follows: Skip’s Section.—Roberts, 4 wins, no losses: Short, 34, 4; Walker, 3,1; Le Beau, 2,2: J. I-lankey, It, 2J; E. Hankey, 1,3; Thompson, 1,3: Morgan, 0, 4. Leads’ Section.---O'Sullivan, 4 wins, no losses; Nevin, 3,1; Beattie, 2,2; Pethick, 2,2; Wilkins, IJ, 24; Kay, IJ, 2J; Lawrence, 1,3; Forrester, 1, 3.
