SOUTHLAND COOL STORES
It was announced at the annual meeting of Southland Cool Stores, Limited, that the new building being erected at Bluff, plus maehery would cost £30.000. This it was stated, would necessitate a bank overdraft of approximately £14,000, but on the business done in the past the new store would be free of debt in five years.
The building will be a threestoreyed one of reinforced concrete, and will bo equipped with most modern refrigerating plant. It will have six storerooms with a capacity for 44,000 crates of cheese, two freezing rooms with a capacity for 12,000 cases of rabbits and four cooling rooms with a capacity for 175.000 boxes of fruit.
