MR. ARNAUD MCJCELLAR FORMER DEPUTY MAYOR (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Tiie death of Mr. Arnaud McKeliar. aged 63 years, has occurred. He was a prominent Christchurch citizen and businessman. He was a member of the City Council for many vears and was formerly the deputy Mayor.
A public accountant and company -ecretary, Mr. McKellar was chairman of directors of the Kaiapoi Woollen Company, a director of the '■’hristchurch Gas Company, chairman of the New Zealand Farmers' Co-operative Association of Canterbury Limited and a director of other companies
