SUNK AT SINGAPORE

(Reed. Nov. 14, 11.50 a.m.) SINGAPORE, Nov. 13.
Tiie British India liner Sirdhana sank within 15 minutes in Singapore harbour this morning following an explosion, believed to have been that of a mine.
It is believed that 11 Asiatics were drowned. Nine others, also Asiatics, are missing.
An American magician named Nicols, who recently toured New Zealand and Australia, and nine members of his company were among those rescued.
One hundred and thirty-seven Chinese who were being banished to Hong Kong were below decks behind the grille when the explosion occurred. The European police officer in charge blew otT the locks with a revolver. All escaped from the sinking vessel.
