Y.M.C.A. DISPLAY

MYSTERY DANCER ITEM CLEVER ACROBATIC WORK The Y.M.C.A. will hold its annual gymnastic display in the Opera House to-morrow week, and it is confidently anticipated that the show will be greeted by a capacity house. The members of the various classes arc busy selling tickets and indications arc that such a record may be established.

Great interest is being taken in the mystery dancer, who will be appearing with one of the ballets. It is a long time since Gisborne people have witnessed the dancing of such a talented performer, and this item alone should be worth the price of admission.

Gisborne residents already have seen a North China troupe in action, bfit the efforts of the "Great North Island Troup” have to be seen to be believed. This item portrays the acme of co-ordination between mind and muscle. There will bo throe ballets on the programme, skipping, tap and the cavalcade of colour, in addition, there will be selected solo dance and vocal items, as well as demonstrations of the various types of class work. An advertisement in this issue calls attention to the fact that free reservations may be made at Messrs. Tattersail and Bayly’s from next Saturday and also to the popular prices being charged.
