LADIES’ TOURNAMENT

WAIROA TENNIS CLUB (Special to the HoruM.) WAIROA, this day. The following is the draw for the ladies’ tournament to be held at the Wairoa Tennis Club’s courts tomorrow afternoon:— Mrs. Pinel and Mrs. Jardine: Mrs. Brewer and Mrs. Newell; Miss Harker and Mrs. Jones; Miss J. Nolan and Mrs. Single; Mrs. Signall and Miss B. Hill; Miss N. Nolan and Miss Svensen; Mrs. McDonald and Mrs. Crichton; Mrs. Pidduck and Miss Jefferson; Miss M. Brownlie and Mrs. Young; Miss P. Brownlie and Mrs. O’Malley; Mrs. Pclchell and Mrs. Pemberton. Entries for the club’s annual handicap tournament will close next weekend. The events are men’s doubles, ladies’ doubles, and combined doubles and are played on handicap. It is hoped that there will be a good entry of members for these events.
