Sheep Estimating
The Gisborne Young Farmers’ Club conducted a sheep weight estimating competition on the Gisborne showgrounds last week in aid of the Red Cross funds. The correct weight of the live sheep was 1921 b. The winner was J. Tietjen, who estimated the correct weight, two competitors being equal for second place, they being S. N. Smith, 191 Jib., and H. D. Evans, 19241 b.
