FINE SHEEP DISPLAY
CANTERBURY SHOW CHAMPIONSHIP AWARDS (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. The Canterbury Agricultural ancl Pastoral Association’s seventy-seventh annual show, which opened yesterday, was notable for the exceptional quality of the sheep exhibits which were considered the best in many years. Cattle and horses were considerably fewer but the quality was maintained. The entries totalled 3060 compared with 3033 last year. Championship results arc:— Sheep. Merino.—Fine combing ram, R.
