FRUITFUL TO TURKS
TREATY WITH ALLIES HOPES OF MINISTER ißecd. Nov. 10, 9 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 9. A message from Ankara states that the Turkish Foreign Minister, Saracoglu Bey, in addressing the Assembly, said that the tripartite pact with England and France was a turning point of the utmost importance in world history. It would make the peace efforts of the signatories more effective and fruitful and should inaugurate a a trut'-ful and happy era in Turkey in political and military as well as social and economic spheres. It is reliably stated in Ankara that Saracoglu Bey privately assured .the deputies that Turkey would continue to resist the Soviet demand to restrict the use of the Black Sea and the Dardanelles by foreign warships. The Turkish Government has decided to demobilise those called up and the reservists.
