PERSONAL ITEMS (Herald Correspondent.) The Bishop of Waiapu, the Rt. Rev. G. V. Gerard and Mrs. Gerard, who have been the guests of the Rev. A. R. H. Morris and Mrs. Morris, of “The. Vicarage,” Waipiro Bay. are now the guests of Misses W. Hopley and M. Biddle, of the Mission House, To Araroa. His Lordship, who was, assisted by the Rev. A. R. H. Mor- ; ris, conducted services at “Kaharau” and Te Araroa on Sunday. They were I the guests of Mrs. T. S. Williams to j luncheon on Sunday. Messrs. W. O. Connor and T. Fletcher, inspectors of native schools, arej on their annual visit to the Coast. They are staying at the Manutahi Hotel, Ruatoria. Miss F. Tonkin, Wairoa, arrived at j To Araroa last Saturday to relieve the district nurse, who left at the week-end to spend her annual leave in the South Island. » Mrs. F. W. Hunt and her daughter, Mrs. Ralph Hitchcock, returned to Te Araroa last Saturday after spending a holiday in Gisborne. —Mrs. A. Evans and her two small children have returned to Whakaangiangi after visiting Gisborne. —Mr. and (Mrs. J. T. T. .Bush, Tikitiki, accompanied by their son and daughter, left on. Monday for Gisborne to be the guests of Mrs. A. T. Hookey, for the Show. Mrs. N. P. Branson, “Tulutohora,” Te Araroa, who has been visiting Hawke’s Bay ar.d Woodvillo, lias returned to her home. —Miss Jean Archibald, Tikitiki, was the week-end guest of Miss Githa Williams, “Mangaotawhito.” Mr. and Mrs. M. G. Thomson, Tikitiki, with their two small sons, are spending a few days in Gisborne. — Mrs. T. A. Snelling, Ruatoria, is visiting Hawke’s Bay.
