FOOTBALL CLUB BALL SUCCESS REPEATED (Humid Correspondent.) The annual ball of the City Football Club is a mueh-looked-lorw.trd-lo event in Tikitiki, and the 1.939 ball was just as successful as those of previous years. The stage of the Tavvhiwhirangi Hall was artistically decorated with an archway of plaited nikau fronds and coloured balloons and streamers.
Mr. R. Tamati was M.C.. while the music was played by Johnnie Manuel’s orchestra. During supper Mrs. M. Thomson sang “The Last Rose ot Summer" and ‘‘Make a Wish.” Among those present were Mesdames G.
