EUCHRE TOURNAMENT
(Herald Correspondent.) The last of a successful series of euchre tournaments was held in the Kaitaratahi Hall last week, many keen players being present. The winners for the night were: — Ladies. —Miss T. Lovelock, 1: Mrs. G. Croon, 2. Gents. —Mr. B. Joll, 1; Mr. D. McLennan, 2. The aggregate winners were: —Ladies. —Miss K. Williams, 1; Miss G. Williams, 2. Gentlemen. — Mr. G. Jones, 1; Mr. L. Buchanan, 2.
Those present included Mesdames J. Lucas, N. Wilton, E. Stevens, G. Croon, J. Mulloo.ly, L. Crosswell, J. Atkins, and B. Joll; Misses K. Williams, T. Lovelock, and G. Williams.
