NORTH ISLAND TITLE WIN FOR RICHARD HAZLEAVOOD FIRST HOME
(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The winner of the annual 100 milesY Palmerston North to Wellington amas teur cycle race held on Saturday was , L. Hazelwood, Palmerston North, who beat another Palmerston North rider, F. Manning, across the finishing line b by about three lengths. Both were oil 1 the 25min., mark and were among the. I first riders to arrive at Paekakariki. Third place went to N. Scrimgeour. 15 Wellington, who had a start of 30min. 1 The North Island championship was ! held in conjunction with the race and was won by L. M. Richard.
